The 2018 Ford Mustang GT is exceptionally fast, hitting 60 mph in under four seconds.
If you’re looking to purchase a 2018 Ford Mustang with speed capabilities, you’ll have to purchase the Mustang GT with Ford’s 10-speed automatic along with the performance package. The car also comes with a “Drag Strip” mode which ensures that the engine maintains optimum power during shifting.
The 2019 Mustang EcoBoost also comes in “Drag Strip” mode, and with the 10-speed automatic and performance package, the EcoBoost can also hit 60mph in under 5.0 seconds. However, both models can be paired with a six-speed manual transmission.
Pricing for the 2018 Ford Mustang GT starts at about $35,095 and pricing for the EcoBoost starts at about $25,585, which isn’t much different from the 2017 versions of these vehicles.
