The last couple of years have been really, really good for Hyundai. According to the CEO of Hyuandai they cannot keep up with the demand.
The Hyundai factory in Montgomery, Ala., is producing at capacity as well as the plant in West Point, Ga., run by Kia. Many of the factories in Korea are also at capacity. Even the auto workforce is pitching working the maximum three shifts with workers on maximum overtime, yet they still can’t keep up with demand.
Despite the demand, Hyuandai will still not build any new factory’s in the U.S. They have decided to keep focus on customer service for the next two years.
