The 2018 Bentley Continental GT has been released, turning heads not just in the United Kingdom but on an international level.
The 2018 Bentley Continental GT does appear similar to the 2003 version of the vehicle, but significant changes have been made to make the latest Bentley absolutely unique while remaining true to a successful classic.
The 2018 Bentley is much lighter because it was created with lighter, yet stronger, materials. Although it’s similar in size to the previous model, the body is wider and the roofline is low which does change the overall look of the exterior.
The fender panels were shaped using a process called “Super Formed” which heats the aluminum to a temperature hot enough to produce and manipulate the beloved dramatic curves of the car.
The car has an advanced suspension control system which offers a relatively smooth ride. However, with 626 horsepower and speed capabilities reaching 207mph, the car doesn’t lack power. It has also been praised for being more fuel efficient, a feature most consumers now desire.
The two-door car’s interior now features real wood and quilted leather. The 2018 Bentley Continental GT features 15 different shades of hide paired with over 310,500 stitches. The car features a quilted pattern which reportedly took 18 months to achieve but makes for an incredibly fine detail.
The 2018 Bentley Continental GT also features a lot of digital technology, including a rotating dashboard display and plenty of safety technology features.
The car will be officially launched at the 2017 Frankfurt Motor Show in September of 2017 and should be available for purchase as of 2018.
