Scion announced that its second generation tC sports coupe, the 2012 tC Release Series 7.0 will be available at dealer showrooms this summer.
Scion plans to build 2,200 units with a sticker price of $20,905 with a six-speed manual transmission or $21,905 when equipped with a six-speed automatic transmission. The Scion tC coupe will use the same 2.5-liter, 180-hp engine as last year, with power being channeled to the front wheels
All 2012 tC coupes come standard with a new 300-watt Pioneer audio system, high-definition radio, Bluetooth streaming audio and iPod connectivity.
Colors for the tC Release Series 7.0 are limited to bright yellow exterior paint, black wheels and black side mirrors. The coupe will get a Toyota Racing Development body kit that includes front and rear valances, side skirts and a stylized front bumper.
