When the Nissan 370Z first replaced the Nissan 350Z in 2009, there was a lot of interest in the car among car enthusiasts. But over the last decade, Nissan has made minimal changes to the 370Z, which has caused some people to question why the company continues to manufacture new models at all. The car looks, feels, and performs about the same as it did when it was first introduced 11 years ago which has led to declining sales.
With that in mind, many people hoped that the latest 370Z would spice things up and provide fans with something to get excited about.
However, when Nissan showed off the 2019 Nissan 370Z, it seemed to have the same problems that have haunted many other models in years past.
The 2019 model looks very similar to the 2018 model and doesn’t offer the changes that people have been looking for.
There are a few new features on the 2019 370Z that make it stand out. Nissan has added an auto-dimming rearview mirror to the mix. They have also added a backup camera in the car to make it safer. Additionally, Nissan added two new colors, Deep Blue Pearl and Pearl White, to its “Heritage Edition” models. Outside of that, there are very differences.
The good news for longtime fans of the 370Z is that it still stacks up nicely to most of the other sports cars that are on the market today. The advanced NISMO model can push out 350 horsepower getting you from 0 to 60 in five seconds flat.
Many people believe Nissan might be doing away with the Nissan 370Z at some point soon, replacing it with a brand-new car concept. That alone might entice some people to buy the newest 370Z before it’s too late. However, others might wait to see what Nissan has up its sleeve next.
