The 2018 edition of the Subaru Forester has been released with some improvements when compared to the 2017 model.
The 2018 Subaru Forester has seen several significant changes, from safety technology to overall price.
If you’re interested in upgrading your current Subaru, there are several things about the 2018 that you should know ahead of time.
The major change that is getting a lot of attention is the fact that the Eyesight active-safety package has become standard on all Touring models. The package comes with automatic high-beam headlights and reverse automatic braking, making this model exceptionally safe.
The child seat anchors have been improved and updated. Seatbelt reminder warnings in general have also been updated, helping remind passengers to stay safe while in the vehicle.
Price has obviously increased as a result, and the 2018 base models are about $200 higher on all trim levels. However, the Touring model is about $1,795 higher. And the destination charge model is about $40 more. Regardless, potential buyers are likely to see some sale incentives this summer.
The 2018 Forester model also has a touchscreen on Forester Limited models which allows owners to access a wide variety of applications from Yelp, Best Parking, and so forth.
For people that are looking to really dress up their Subaru Forester, there is also a Black Edition package which comes at a cost but includes black 18-inch wheels, black exterior, adaptive headlights, and various other paint colors.
The 2018 Subaru Forester should be available to dealerships as of June 2017.
