In most cases, the main appeal of leasing a vehicle is the ability to drive a brand-new model at a reasonably affordable price compared to buying it outright. However, it looks as though the same cannot be said for the brand-new Pagani Huayra Roadster, which has been dubbed the “Most Expensive Lease Ever”.
The Pagani Huayra Roadster is an Italian supercar that is being manufactured in very limited quantities with massive required lease payments.
Only about 100 of these cars will be produced, which means it will be exceptionally difficult for people to get their hands on one. It’ll be even harder when you consider that the Pagani Huayra Roadster will retail for a cool $2.4 million. Now if you’re hoping to lease instead of purchase, a company called Putnam Leasing is offering Pagani Huayra Roadster leases starting at more than $25,000 per month. That makes it the most expensive new car lease in the history of automobiles.
You must be willing to do more than just fork over $25,000 per month, however. In addition to asking for 60 monthly payments topping $25K, Putnam Leasing is also requiring those who decide to lease the Pagani Huayra Roadster to put down $700,000 upfront. That means that by the time the lease is over, people will have paid more than $2 million total for the right to ride around in a Pagani Huayra Roadster.
The good news for those who want to lease the Pagani Huayra Roadster is that Putnam Leasing is offering an open-end lease on it. That means drivers will have some flexibility at the end of their lease as far as buying goes. Putnam Leasing is also offering those who lease a Pagani Huayra Roadster the opportunity to transfer their lease over to a comparable vehicle at any point without subjecting them to a penalty. Sounds like quite the deal, doesn’t it?
