If you have been living under a rock, you may not have heard about Volkswagen’s impressive new Hybrid XL1. It has been given the label as the world’s most fuel efficient car. It can go 200 miles on one gallon of gas.
While the gas mileage is attractive, the design is extremely unique and specific. We doubt that the average user would find much use for this car.
For example, this car would be uncomfortable for those who are large in stature. It is an entire 5.1 inches smaller than a Porsche Boxster and weighs less than a VW Golf. It also has no side mirrors to reduce drag. We do applaud the use of carbon fiber throughout the car to make it lighter as well.
